What the site sets

Asset Inventory Ranked sets no cookies. It does not write to localStorage or sessionStorage either. The calculator and comparison tools keep your choices in the page address, so a link you copy reproduces the same view without anything being stored in your browser.

Cookies and storage, item by item

• Cookies: none.

• sessionStorage keys: none.
• Page address parameters: the calculator, the comparison tool and the survey notes filter read settings such as selected tools, weights, asset count or a tag from the address. These live only in the link and are not stored by the site.

Third-party requests

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts load. Google Fonts does not set cookies for this. The site loads no other third-party scripts: no analytics, advertising, social media or tracking tools.

Links to vendor websites open those sites in a new tab. Any cookies they set are governed by their own policies.

Why there is no cookie banner

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing non-essential is stored on your device, so there is nothing to ask consent for. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Controlling cookies and storage

Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, block them for some or all sites, and browse in a private window that discards them when closed. Look under Settings, then Privacy or Site data, in your browser. You can also block web fonts in some browsers; the site will then use a fallback typeface.
